Nature has slowly reclaimed the area, making it a peaceful, highly photogenic spot where history and the outdoors meet. It is an absolutely beautiful area and well worth the ride to visit, explore, and snap a few photos before cruising back.

Once you are comfortable, we swap your gear and head into the lush Vanadzor forest. Our destination is the legendary, abandoned Artek Camp. Once a bustling hub of the Soviet era, it is now a stunning, silent monument swallowed by nature. It is a must-visit for anyone who values raw history, mid-century architecture, and a quiet connection with the wilderness.

Description: If you are looking for a gentle, scenic ride that the whole family can enjoy, the Botanical Garden Loop is the perfect choice. This short, beginner-friendly circuit winds its way through a beautifully maintained botanical area, offering a peaceful and colorful backdrop for your ride. Along the way, the trail takes you right past a beautiful piece of local history: a unique Vanadzor landmark built in the early 20th century. It is an ideal spot to hop off the saddle, stretch your legs, and grab a fantastic group photo before finishing up the loop.

Botanical Garden Loop

Designed for the spirited traveler who wants a bit more sweat and a lot more scenery. This tour includes the skills clinic at the pump track and the ride through the historic Artek ruins, but then we push deeper and higher.

We will climb the forest paths to enter Vanadzor’s hidden Botanical Garden. Established in the early 1900s, this massive living museum is home to a jaw-dropping collection of flora, most notably a grove of towering Giant Sequoia trees. Riding under these massive, ancient canopy giants feels like you have stepped out of Armenia and straight into a primeval forest.
